Yes. Sunray will process insurance applications with the insurance company, which includes the fee schedule. Conversations with the provider will ensure they agree with the fee schedule. If disputes arise, we will communicate with the insurance on behalf of the provider.
Sunray uses AdvancedMD, which is one of the most up-to-date with claim scrub rules and CMS updates. AdvancedMD partners with the Change Healthcare Clearinghouse that also utilizes a second set of scrub rules to ensure claims go out correctly the first time. Each provider will be given logins to see realtime accounts receivable. Some EMR systems have the capability to transfer data to AdvancedMD, such as patient demographics and charges. If the systems cannot communicate, Sunray will manually enter the information from the provider's EMR into AdvancedMD. Sunray can use any existing billing software the provider utilizes if it has an existing database.
Yes. Insurance verification is a built-in feature included with the billing software AdvancedMD. Sunray will always verify insurance on new patients and periodically through the year on established patient. Sunray has experienced staff for authorizations, and will be able to assist the provider in obtaining an authorization. This would require Sunray having access to the provider's EMR for medical records as most authorization requests require documentation to be submitted.
Sunray has many options to receive information from the office. We use a secure cloud-based file program eFileCabinet® in which the practice will sent a username and assigned a folder. The files can be dragged and dropped into the program with realtime upload. We also accept information via fax (352) 897-2348 or email michele.yates@sunraysolutions.com
Yes. For the first several months of onboarding, Sunray will hold monthly meetings with the practice to ensure all required information is received and claims/payments are being processed accordingly. After the initial onboarding meetings, Sunray will always have open communication with the practice to provide feedback, billing issues, CMS and other insurance updates, etc.
Yes. Sunray will promptly address credentialing for all providers to ensure the provider can concentrate on seeing patients and be concerned only with patient care.
Yes. Sunray is registered with CMS, and receives quarterly updates with upcoming events and changes to any ICD10 and CPT coding. Sunray will notify practices as well as keep this website -- SunrayMBSolutions.com -- updated with current information.
Yes, Sunray works with Inbox Health™. Inbox is a modern electronic statement service. Inbox will attempt to send text or email statements. As a last resort, they will mail a paper statement. In the statement, the patient is provided with the onlne information to view their entire account, including charges, and payments or denials from the insurance. The patient has the capability to email or text Sunray to correct insurance informaiton on file, dispute a bill, or any other concerns. The patient can make online payments, which are routed directly to the provider account. The provider's office will be given a login to see their patients accounts receivable with realtime balance.
