Inbox is an up-to-date, technology savvy platform that allows patients to receive statements electronically via text, email or paper statements. Inbox communicates with AdvancedMD and many other billing software systems. Every night, Inbox will extract patient balances, run checks and balances for any updated/new patient balance, and send a statement. This ensures patients are being billed promptly and the practice receives patient payments without delay. Inbox provides the patient with an assigned key/account number to their individual portal where they have access to see all charges, insurance payments, previous patient payments and insurance denials. Patients have the option to directly instant message Sunray to discuss billing issues, provide updated insurance, etc. The patient is also given the option to make an online payment that is directly routed to the provider’s account. Patients are still given the opportunity to call a dedicated phone number to reach Sunray with questions. All statements do provide a section to be mailed in with a check for those patients that do not desire to pay online.
